Privacy Policy
Last updated 25 August 2026 · My Harmony Hub
Co-Parenting Harmony is a shared calendar for families coordinating life across two homes. We hold as little information as possible, and we never sell it.
Who is responsible for your data
My Harmony Hub is the data controller for Co-Parenting Harmony.
Privacy and data protection enquiries: privacy@myharmonyhub.app. General support: support@myharmonyhub.app.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and sign-in method (email, Google, Apple or Microsoft). Passwords are stored only as hashes by our authentication provider.
- Family data: the family group you create or join, the other adults you invite, and each child's first name plus light scheduling notes you choose to add.
- Calendar and coordination data: events, custody patterns, work shifts, handover times, proposals and responses, family log entries and shared expense records.
- Billing data: your plan, subscription status, trial dates and cancellation state. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach our servers.
- Product analytics: a small set of first-party events (for example trial started, checkout confirmed) tied to your account, with an allowlisted set of non-sensitive fields only.
- Email delivery data: whether onboarding emails were sent, delivered, opened or clicked, retained for a limited period and then purged automatically.
What we deliberately do not collect
- No child surnames, dates of birth, school names, addresses, photographs or health, medical or safeguarding records are required by the product.
- No location tracking, no messaging or call content, no document storage and no third-party advertising or tracking pixels.
- We do not build advertising profiles, and we never sell or rent personal data.
Please do not enter sensitive information into free-text fields such as notes. My Harmony Hub is an everyday coordination tool, not a legal, evidential or safeguarding record system.
Why we can use your data (lawful bases)
- Contract: to provide the shared calendar, proposals, family log, expenses and your subscription.
- Legitimate interests: to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate product usage.
- Consent: for optional onboarding emails, which you can stop at any time.
- Legal obligation: to retain billing and tax records.
Privacy inside your family
Family data is visible only to the adults in your family group, and only according to the permissions your family organiser sets. Any calendar entry can be marked private: other adults then see only “Busy”, with no title, notes or participants. Our availability suggestions are calculated without ever revealing the contents of a private entry.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of processors, each bound by contract and used only to run the service:
- Our hosting, database and authentication platform (application data and sign-in).
- Stripe (payments, subscriptions and billing correspondence).
- Our transactional email provider (account, invitation and onboarding emails).
- Google Search Console (aggregate search performance for our public marketing pages only).
Where a processor operates outside the UK or EEA, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK Addendum and Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Account, family and calendar data: while your account is active, then deleted on request or shortly after account closure.
- Email delivery tracking: purged automatically on a rolling short retention schedule.
- Billing records: retained as long as UK tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or port it elsewhere. You can also withdraw consent to onboarding emails. Email privacy@myharmonyhub.app and we will respond within one month.
Deleting your account removes your profile and your personal entries. Shared family records created by other adults remain with their family group.
If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Children
Accounts are for adults aged 18 or over. Children do not have accounts and cannot sign in. Information about a child is entered by an adult in the family, and we ask for the minimum needed to plan a week — a first name and optional scheduling notes.
Security
Access to family data is enforced at the database level with row-level security, so one family can never read another family’s records. Data is encrypted in transit, secrets are held server-side only, and administrative access is limited to what is needed to operate the service.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. See also our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy.
